Sustainable Development
Everything we support is designed to meet the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own. That means projects that protect natural resources, reduce poverty and build lasting economic opportunity in the communities we work with .
Monitoring and Evaluation
Trustees and project teams track progress against clear objectives from the outset. We use participatory methods so that communities themselves help shape what success looks like, and we review projects regularly rather than waiting until the end.
Measuring Impact
We report on outcomes, not just activity. That includes environmental results such as habitat protected or carbon stored, and social results such as livelihoods supported or people trained, wherever we can capture that data reliably.
Accountable by design.
Our trustees review every project against these three disciplines, and we publish what we learn through annual reports and updates, so our supporters and partners can see exactly how change is happening.
